Our attention to Health, safety and environmental excellence has been recognized as being world-class. We strive to achieve zero lost time incidents in all of our facilities, and on one project in particular we did achieve 1.4 million person hours without a lost time incident.
All of our facilities are ISO 9001-2000 certified.
Halifax, Woodside and Shelburne are ice-free, deep water facilities ensuring year round access.
All our facilities are certified members of ISPS and operate 365 days a year.
Our easily accessible east coast facilities are among the most efficient in North America, next to well-traveled sea lanes to and from Europe.

 ISI’s largest facility and head office site, Halifax Shipyard provides a complete range of services for newbuild up to 115m and ship repair for vessels up to Panamax size.
