Take advantage of our wealth of experience building tankers, passenger ferries, ice breakers, semi-submersible rigs, the first fully dynamically positioned drill ship as well as tugs, Canadian Coast Guard and Department of Defense Patrol vessels, Frigates and Mine sweepers.
ISI earned its reputation building the world’s most versatile ship assist, coastal towing and escort tugs, as well as high quality, complex vessels. In fact, ISI has built more ice class tugs than any other yard worldwide.
Our build methodologies focus on doing the vast majority of construction, outfitting and painting undercover. This not only enhances the health, safety and environmental aspects of the job, it assures the quality of your vessel.
From our background in naval work, we have developed a philosophy of early and progressive system completion that speeds the commissioning phase, and also provides you with an extremely reliable product.
